Mesothelioma is a rare cancer caused by the inhalation of asbestos fibers, particles or dust. Asbestos manufacturing companies have known about the hazards of asbestos since the 1940s, but have placed profits above public health concerns. Victims of asbestos related diseases like mesothelioma typically do not experience symptoms for many years, possibly up to 50 years after their exposure. Workers in the following industries have a high likelihood of past asbestos exposure: shipbuilding, mining, automotive, construction, heating, plumbing and related trades.
If you or a loved one have been diagnosed with mesothelioma or an asbestos related disease, let us help you find a Texas mesothelioma attorney. Some symptoms of asbestos related diseases like mesothelioma include: sudden weight loss, abdominal pain and swelling, fatigue, wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath and chest pain. Victims may also suffer from bowel obstructions, blood-clotting abnormalities, anemia and fever. If it spreads to other areas of the body it may also result in pain, trouble swallowing or swelling of the face or neck.
If you or a loved one have a history of asbestos exposure and have been diagnosed with mesothelioma or an asbestos related disease, you have important legal rights and may be able to file a claim for compensation. Since that time, Texas mesothelioma lawyers have been fighting large corporations in court to get just compensation for workers afflicted with these avoidable diseases.
It was in the state of Texas where the first product liability cases against asbestos manufacturers were filed. Texas and California are two states that provide speedy trials for mesothelioma victims and their families. Some have found it helpful to browse through old records, including catalogues and advertisements from as far back as the 1940s to help them create their list.
In Houston or any place for that matter, finding the right mesothelioma lawyer can be a long and confusing process. You need to find an experienced lawyer you can trust and one who will return your phone calls promptly and with answers. You can start your search for a mesothelioma lawyer by contacting local bar associations, searching the Martindale-Hubbell Law directory, the yellow pages or the Internet. Once you have a list of names and contact information, you can start by calling and interviewing them on the phone. Explain your situation in detail and ask lots of questions. Also, make sure to confirm there is no cost or obligation for the initial consultation. Finally, you may want to meet with your prospective mesothelioma attorney in person and get to know him or her. If all of this seems overwhelming or more than you care to undertake on your own, we can help.
If you or loved one are suffering from mesothelioma or an asbestos related disease and live in Houston or another part of Texas, and you would like help in finding the right mesothelioma attorney, please contact us now.

What is Mesothelioma?
What is Mesothelioma?
Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that can arise in the mesothelial lining of the lungs, heart or abdomen. Some cases have even been reported to develop in the lining of the testicles as well. These four types of mesothelioma are called pleural mesothelioma (lung), pericardial mesothelioma (heart), peritoneal mesothelioma (abdomen) and testicular mesothelioma.
Combined, these cancers affect 2,000 to 3,000 people in the United States each year. Receiving a diagnosis can be difficult due to the similarity of symptoms to other, more common conditions and doctors may overlook mesothelioma as a diagnosis. Another contributing factor that makes these cancers difficult to diagnose is the severe latency period of symptoms. From the time of someone's initial exposure to asbestos, the primary cause of mesothelioma, signs of development may take as long as 20 to 50 years to arise.
In an effort to help patients understand mesothelioma, Asbestos.com offers a complimentary packet that contains treatment options and other helpful resources tailored to your specific diagnosis. The packet also covers the nation's top mesothelioma doctors and cancer centers, as well as financial assistance options to help cover medical costs. For reinsurance carriers, brokers and insurers who place reinsurance business (through brokers or directly), who wish to improve cash flow and reduce operational costs by automating post-placement accounting and settlement transactions, the SWIFT Insurance service provides a platform to achieve just that. Unlike peer-to-peer messaging solutions, email exchanges and other unstructured communications, our service ensures that all messages are validated against relevant industry rulebooks, and will grow to host and integrate many new value-added automation services, such as payments initiation, counterparty performance monitoring and netting over the coming years.
SWIFT was commissioned to establish this platform in 2008, facilitating automation and thereby improving efficiency. Led by an Industry Panel formed for the project, chaired initially by SwissRe, the community will move its ACORD accounting and settlement communications processes onto the new SWIFT Insurance service. The aim is to achieve greater discipline on use of standards, harmonisation of business processes, extension and scalability of automation, and reduction of operational risk and cost as a direct result.
swift insurance
Initially, the project’s core value proposition is the harmonisation of accounting and settlement processes for Reinsurance and large Corporate insurance transactions, as defined in the Rüschlikon Initiative Rulebook. This defines the rules and target business process performance standards to which the community is committed to achieve over time, which represents a dramatic improvement on performance achieved by the industry to date.
The service will enable exchange of both structured ACORD messages and attachments for processing reinsurance premium and claims accounting transactions.

mesothelioma
Mesothelioma, more precisely malignant mesothelioma, is a rare form of cancer that develops from the protective lining that covers many of the body's internal organs, the mesothelium. It is usually caused by exposure to asbestos.[1]
Its most common site is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall), but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity), the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart),[2] or the tunica vaginalis (a sac that surrounds the testis).
Most people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos and glass particles, or they have been exposed to asbestos dust and fiber in other ways. It has also been suggested that washing the clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos or glass can put a person at risk for developing mesothelioma.[3] Unlike lung cancer, there is no association between mesothelioma and smoking, but smoking greatly increases the risk of other asbestos-induced cancers.[4] Those who have been exposed to asbestos often utilize attorneys to collect damages for asbestos-related disease, including mesothelioma. Compensation via asbestos funds or lawsuits is an important issue in mesothelioma (see asbestos and the law).
The symptoms of mesothelioma include shortness of breath due to pleural effusion (fluid between the lung and the chest wall) or chest wall pain, and general symptoms such as weight loss. The diagnosis may be suspected with chest X-ray and CT scan, and is confirmed with a biopsy (tissue sample) and microscopic examination. A thoracoscopy (inserting a tube with a camera into the chest) can be used to take biopsies. It allows the introduction of substances such as talc to obliterate the pleural space (called pleurodesis), which prevents more fluid from accumulating and pressing on the lung. Despite treatment with chemotherapy, radiation therapy or sometimes surgery, the disease carries a poor prognosis. Research about screening tests for the early detection of mesothelioma is ongoing.

Facts on Robotics
1. “Robot” has derived from the Czech word “robota”, which means “drudgery”. At first it was seen in the play Rossum’s Universal Robots in the year 1921.
2. The case of a first robot homicide took place in the year 1981. It was the first case which is known to us. In the incident a factory worker of Japanese Kawasaki was crushed by a robotic arm.
3. Nowadays there are millions of industrial robots in use and about half of them are in Japan alone.
4. In the year 1495, Leonardo da Vinci had also drawn plans of a shielded humanoid machine.
5. PackBot’s is a manufacturer of iRobot which was already sold over two million Roomba robotic vacuum cleaners, which also has an environment sensing techniques available in it.
6. There is a report that the Taliban fighters of Afghanistan have used ladders in order to turn over and disarmed the military robots which was being sent to check out their caves.
7. Elektro is the first humanoid robot in the world which was debuted in the year 1939. It was created by the Westinghouse. It was 7 foot in height and was able to walk and speak. It spoke over seven hundred words which was stored in it.
8. Chris Melhuish from Bristol Robotics Lab has created a robot which can use fuel cells with bacteria in order to obtain electricity from the objects like the dead flies and the rotten apples. The main goal behind this was that robots could seek the need of their own food.
9. A group of Australian researchers are finding a way to build up a micro robot that could perform the same swim stroke which is used by E. coli bacteria. The main goal behind this is that if it becomes successful, it will be very much helpful in taking a biopsy of the human body parts.

M3X-3S-Twin CNC Kneemill
The Model M3X-3S-Twin CNC Kneemill Offers Twice the Production
Versatile design. Solid support. The System M3X-3S Twin CNC Kneemill is designed to produce single or few tool-change parts in medium to large quantities for less than the cost of a single VMC. You can quote jobs on a single spindle, and then run them on 2, doubling your speed (and profit!). You can also make money on jobs that can’t be cost-justified on expensive VMCs.
System M3X controls are shipped completely installed and tested. You can be up and running the day your machine arrives. If you can run a manual machine, you will be cutting chips in less than 2 hours. If you can run a CNC mill, it will take less!
M3X-3S-Twin CNC Kneemill features:
- Two inverter-controlled 2 HP spindles
- Sixteen inches between spindles provide a 16" X 12" X 14" (X, Y, Z) work envelope per spindle.
- Conversational Programming Software (CPS) makes short work of simple jobs
- Knee drive for the Z axis provides 14" of programmable travel and leaves the quill free so you can adjust each spindle height separately.
- True 3 axis simultaneous interpolation allows you to make parts with complicated 3-D surfaces. You can also peck drill hundreds of holes in a part without breaking a sweat (or missing any).
- Reads standard G-code files which can be produced by CPS, generated from a CAM system, or provided by a customer. (From an existing FANUC compatible control)

CNC Machines
The System M3X / M4X CNC Control
The System M3X Control was designed from the ground up with the machine operator in mind. The ease of use and reliability of design will reward you with years of profitable use. With our Conversational Programming System (Also available as a standalone version.) The casual machine operator will be up and running right away. By using easy text driven machine events you can make a single cut or a complete part without G-Code experience.
For the more experienced machinist and large production facilities you'll appreciate the full control that comes with the G-Code library support and the the no-nonsense control panel design. The optional 4th axis synchronous rotary table can be used for simple indexing to complex contour work, and at a price that doesn't buy the software alone with most of the other guys.
Standard on all M3X Controls
Using the remote pendant station the operator will breeze through part and tool setups. This feature makes setup a snap. With the M3X you get this "big machine" option as standard equipment. With the large character DRO you won't have any problem seeing the current position (Displayed to the 1/10,000). You can preset the axis to any value then cut away. Let's face it, some jobs are just faster to cut by hand, when looking for a retrofit make sure you retain manual control of all axis, especially the quill.
